Currently in its festival run, “For My Grandma,” is my directorial debut. It is a coming of age story of reconnecting to faith and the importance of family and community through the loss of a loved one. Fourteen drafts of the script later, this was a three day shoot that took six months of pre-production work to make possible.
This tells the story of Holly, played by Francesca Raimondi, and her journey of grief through self reflection to find clarity, harmony and hope.
